The Organizing Committee of the Doha Summer Fun Park has announced that family-only hours will be designated on Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm until 9pm. All visitors are welcome after 9pm until closing on the weekends. The new schedule will be implemented starting Thursday, 5 August.

The number of visitors to the Doha Summer Fun Park, up until yesterday, exceeds 75,000. The large turnout of families on the weekend has led to visitors requesting for family times, therefore, the Organizing Committee has changed the opening times to allow for family hours.

“We have seen high numbers of visitors come to the Doha Summer Fun Park since opening – over 75,000” said Mr. Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority. “We want everyone who visits to have a pleasurable and fun experience. To ensure the Doha Summer Fun Park continues to be family orientated, we have organized for Thursdays and Fridays to be family days between the hours of 3pm and 9pm.”

In the next week, the number of visitors is expected to increase as families return to Qatar from their summer holidays in time for the Holy month of Ramadan. The Organizing Committee has undertaken extensive preparations and planned unique and exciting activities in preparation for the Holy month.
