United Development Company (UDC) will be the diamond sponsor of the second edition of Corporate Social Responsibility conference to be held in Doha in September.
The conference, organised by the Ministry of Business and Trade, will examine the standards endorsed by the United Nations and aims to lay the necessary foundations for applying the principles of social responsibility to Qatari companies.
“This conference will be discussing the vital issue of corporate social responsibility and also make recommendations about ways in which companies in Qatar can work to world standards on this,” said an UDC spokesperson.
The spokesperson said it was important for companies operating in Qatar to take their corporate social responsibility obligations seriously.[Read More]
