Hundreds of companies from Iran yesterday started welcoming visitors and Doha-based traders at a solo-exhibition of “Made in Iran” at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

The unprecedented event will host, for the next three days, representative of Iranian industrial, scientific, research and educational establishments and institutes showcasing their latest achievements in the fields of agriculture, carpeting, food, handicraft and else.

The event is being held to explore existing trade potential between Iran and Qatar and to strengthen the depth of political and diplomatic tie between the two countries, Iran Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) president Babak Afghahi said earlier.

ITPO and Isfahan Province International Exhibition Company have organised the event. Around140 companies are attending, of which food and industry category has the largest contingents. [Read More]
