Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Chakib Khelil launched here on Sunday the 10th ministerial Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) meeting, scheduled to be held from April 18 to 20. H.E. Qatar”s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, who leads Qatar”s delegation to the Forum, took part in the opening of the forum along with the Russian and Yemeni Ministers of energy. H.E. Al Attiyah toured the forum, including Qatar Petroleum (QP)”s exhibition space and was briefed on gas industry in terms of extraction, transportation and distribution.
