With 10 days remaining for the start of the IAAF World Indoor Championships (WIC) in Athletics (Doha 2010), there has been a good response to ticket sales, the organisers said yesterday.

“There has been a very good response to tickets for the Doha 2010 event to be held at the Aspire Dome from March 12 to 14. We have already sold 6,000 tickets and the sales are going up every day,” Doha 2010 Event Director Abdulla Al Zaini said yesterday.

Qatar Olympic Committee’s (QOC) Director of Marketing and PR Department, Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, also expressed satisfaction over the sale of tickets and called up on the people of Qatar to come in large numbers and support the event. [Read More]
