Qtel plans 40 percent Qatarisation by 2012


Qtel targets 40 percent Qatarisation in jobs over the next two years, a senior official of the company has said.

The company is keen to attract Qatari youth and provide them excellent job opportunities and training courses in different departments in the framework of national Qatarisation policy, said Qtel chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mahmoud bin Suoud al Thani.

Qtel with presence in 17 countries currently hopes to become one of the 20 best companies in the world by 2020 through its ambitious expansion plans, he said on the sidelines of the third vocational forum of Qatrari students in the UK.

Qtel is committed to take part in all career forums abroad, and is working now to encourage Qatari students in the universities abroad to become envoys delivering its message that aims to attract more nationals to its workforce.
